Child Safe
Melton Bushwalkers has adopted a Child Safe Policy (including a Code of Conduct) to comply with the Victorian Government's Child Safe Standards. This was on the recommendation of Bushwalking Victoria for all affiliated clubs which allow children to participate in club walks and other activities.
All members and participants in club activities are expected to adhere to the practices outlined in this policy.

Melton Bushwalkers has adopted a Privacy Policy on the recommendation of Bushwalking Victoria for all affiliated clubs.

Walk Safety Guidelines
Melton Bushwalkers has adopted Walk Safety Guidelines to assist walk leaders in determining a course of action when a walker is unable or struggling to complete a walk.
The Walk Safety Guidlines include an Addendum for other walk safety issues.
All members and participants in club walks are expected to comply with the course of action determined when such situations occur.
